Our Managing Director and fifth generation Thames Waterman - Tom is enjoying taking the Silver Fleet into the 21st century whilst dedicated to the Silver Fleet's traditions of innovation, style and service.
Since 1997, creator of the new look Silver Fleet brand, linking the company with the best architects, manufacturers, graphic designers, London landmarks and media.
March 2010 saw a new addition to the Silver Fleet Family. Formerly Director of Business Development at Quintessentially Events and Manager of Events Teams at Tate Gallery, Barbican Centre, The Serpentine Gallery and Slaughter and May Law Firm, Micha brings a wealth of expertise to her role at Silver Fleet. Micha enjoys working with individuals and companies from the worlds of business, film, sport, fashion, music, politics, art, and everyone in between, bringing nearly 20 years of experience and an incredible portfolio of contacts with her.
She says about her new appointment, “I am thrilled to join Silver Fleet. With a wonderful and prestigious history on the River Thames, Silver Fleet is an exciting family run company with a commitment to excellence and service. I am ready to take the company to newer heights.”
In March 2010 we also welcomed another addition to the Silver Fleet Family. After three years of focusing primarily on the food service for The Silver Fleet, “rhubarb” food design are very excited to have recently expanded their involvement with the Company. Under Patrick’s leadership as Head of Planning, “rhubarb” is now responsible for full event planning and front of house operation of all events on the Silver Fleet vessels. Patrick has been working within London’s busy events industry since 2001, working as a Senior planner within “rhubarb”s core business since 2007.
He comments on his new role, “We have spent three very successful years working with The Silver Fleet. The expansion of our role offers a fantastic opportunity for us to offer a higher level of consistency and flexibility to clients, through out the planning and operation of there events. Silver Fleet and “rhubarb” have a great affinity when it comes to events, and I look forward to many more successful years working together.”
