OVERVIEW

Silver Barracuda

Over three decades of decadence on the Thames, she has welcomed onboard prime ministers, film stars, pop singers, writers and royalty.

Relaunched in Spring 2009 - this beautiful, vintage river cruiser's latest incarnation reflects the original Art Deco interior styling with gorgeous fabrics by Osborne & Little.

The upper deck bar and lounge is lined in a graceful, curved window surrounds in a luxe pale silver, tan and black raised velvet weave – which perfectly compliments the nutmeg and cream wool Axminster carpeting, tan leather sofas and chaise longues, oak carpentry, intimate booth seat dining and mirrored 1930s bar with a decorative cast iron grille facade all surrounding a dance floor with retractable sunroof.

The lower dining deck has be restyled to highlight the stunning, original woodwork with its Art Deco influences following through the steamed ash wood chandelier by Tom Raffield at the fore of the saloon. The lower deck windows are also given the new curved window surrounds, reflecting the upper deck, in a sage and leaf green ‘Serengeti’ raised velvet which frame London’s riverscape perfectly.

The classic booth seats are covered in a dark grey wool flannel fabric evoking the finest Savile Row suiting contracted with Nina Campbell’s dramatic 'Giverny' linen-lined walls and booth scatter cushions. The contrasting prints on each scatter cushion give each booth an individual signature.

A new feature aboard is an opulent divider curtain which enables the lower deck to be partitioned creating an intimate dining deck for smaller parties.

The second largest vessel in the Silver Fleet, the Silver Barracuda can accommodate 236 guests in total or 158 for seated dining.
